Location: Fallbrook's Mission Theatre and other venues in
Fallbrook
Taught by
Dana Carr,
one of the resident stage managers for
Moonlight Amphitheatre and other professional venues.
Within this hands-on workshop you will gain experience working
side by side with actors, our professional director and music
director, set designers and technicians who serve as models and
mentors. Ms. Carr will teach the techniques and practice
of stage management, including the organization and preparation
of a production book from rehearsal through the cueing of a
production. Also covered will be the art of navigating the
relationship between the stage manager and the artistic,
administrative, and production staffs, stress management,
time management and performance maintenance.
Workshop culminates by working on Fallbrook Players' fall
production of Les Miserables! Take that first step to
landing perfect summer jobs in theatre!
This
workshop is for ages 12-18
Tuition is $150 for the 10 weeks, limited to 10 students.
Not only are
Fallbrook Players' workshops super fun, but they are geared to
